PICTURE IT:
If Jesus had Redeemed me and forgiven me of all my transgressions and sins, but had not promised “never to leave me or forsake me” … it would have been enough
If he had promised to “never leave me or forsake me” while living through the pains and struggles here on this earth, but had not promised to prepare a place for me in the glory of Heaven after this life… it would have been enough
If he had promised to prepare a place for me of eternal life in the glory of Heaven, but had not given me the indwelling of his Holy Spirit to guide me for today… it would have been enough
If he had given me the indwelling power and guidance of the Holy Spirit while living here on this earth, but had not given me a purpose and calling upon my life… it would have been enough
If he had given me a purpose and calling on my life for the very Kingdom of God, but had not equipped me with everything that I need… it would have been enough
If he had equipped me with everything that I need, but had not given me the Bible, the very own written Word of God… it would have been enough
If he had given me the very Truth-filled, written Holy Word of God in order to personally and intimately know him, but had not given me a mouth able to utter or speak aloud its message… it would have been enough
If he had given me, and he has, a mouth that is capable and able to speak the very Word of God and share the truth-filled, life-changing, life-giving glorious Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and of his overwhelming and great LOVE for us expressed by his sacrificial death and payment for our sins on the cross of Calvary, and in addition to, the promise of Heaven, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the calling and purpose of the Great Commission to go out into all the nations and reach a lost and dying world, telling them about a Redeemer and Savior who loves them and died for them, but yet I do not… then why? Why would all that He has done not have been enough?
