Easter Sunday Blessing!

God is so good y’all!

What better way to celebrate Christ’s Resurrection than with a baptism to testify to the new life in Christ? What a blessing!

God is MOVING in His church!
God is WORKING among His people!
God is STIRRING hearts and raising believers!

EASTER Sunday was just a glimpse of what God is doing and wants to do in His church… And we are so grateful to be a part of that stirring and moving. Can you say “Amen”?

God is bringing this small church to LIFE AGAIN! Just five weeks ago, when we joined hands with this congregation, there were only 20 people. But they were 20 faithful, praying, devoted people who were desperate to see a move of God. Most were senior adults who had a desire and a heart but not the physical strength to do the work. So, they prayed! And God is bringing the people and bringing the workers. Oh, the POWER OF PRAYER!

This EASTER Sunday, we witnessed two excited, next-generation, young men step into the baptismal waters as their personal testimony. Halleluiah!

A sweet couple, who are ready and eager to serve and be used by God, joined our sweet fellowship. (By the way, we have had a family join the church every Sunday. Incredible!) God is SO GOOD!

The welcoming doors of the larger sanctuary were finally opened wide after months of being closed. (We have been in the older portion of the church, so this was a BIG deal! It took lots of work and help to get it ready to worship in once again.)

The parking lot, over-flowed with energy from the paved area, to the gravel, and onto the grass.

Young families, children, and people of all ages entered and filled the once vacant auditorium, bringing life, love, and laughter to the atmosphere.

The children’s center, exploding with laughter, games, and Bible stories around the short little table. (Oh, how those rooms were aching for the sound of children once again.)

Beautiful praise and thanksgiving rang out from the hearts and lips of all those who came, all those who worshipped in music and heard the preaching of the Word.

The spirit of sweet fellowship, expressed in hugs, handshakes, and many new connections were made. Excitement was felt and generously welcomed. Anticipation for what God is doing was thick and it was loud. Wow!

We cannot begin to express how OUR HEARTS ARE FULL. This is just the beginning of what God has planned for Pleasant Hill Baptist Church… and, not only our church, but for His faithful church all over the world. May we all be used, may we all be effective, and may we all be poured out for the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

God use me for your glory!

Oh… and yes, that is the pastor (my husband) in the last picture. I can not tell you how many pictures we have of him giving bunny ears to people. I guess he will never get over being a youth pastor for all those years earlier. That is just part of his big ol’ personality! Just gotta LOVE IT! Ain’t no changing it! Ha!
