The response to the writing of “What If God Were Put On Trial” has been more than I could have ever imagined. Since finishing your book last week, I’ve found myself thinking often about being a witness for God’s character and about having a testimony to tell. Your book has really deepened my thoughts about some pretty common “Christian words”. Growing up in the Church, I heard a lot about witnessing and about knowing how to give your testimony. I realize now that my concept of “witnessing” was fairly limited to telling a person the basic points of how to be saved. And my concept of giving my testimony was pretty much just telling the story of how I accepted Christ as my Savior. But there’s really so much more to it!

The accusations that were hurled at God in your courtroom scene are actually the same things I’ve personally heard some people close to me charging God with. I’m inspired by reading your book to see that my response to those accusations can be met by my testimony of how I’ve personally experienced God’s character in my own life.  I can be a reliable witness for God’s character!
