One of my Favorite Things is getting a sweet text message like this one!

There is nothing better than to see someone get excited about studying God’s Word!! That excites me so, so much and if I could dance, I’d do a happy dance!! (As long as no one was watching. It’s just best that way!)

I received this SWEET, BEAUTIFUL text message last week after my study on the book of Revelation. The “7-year Tribulation” and the word “sweet” don’t usually make it into the same sentence together. But today they do! Just read her sweet message below and hear the EXCITEMENT in her voice and the JOY in her heart.  This is why I do what I do!!!

• “I just got done telling (my husband) that one of my FAVORITE things is taking notes in my Bible as I read. When I learn from you, you lay it out in a way that I don’t take notes on paper all that much. I’m literally studying the Bible with just my Bible and a pen. I FEEL SO CONNECTED to it that way. And I’m pondering the Word more and the meanings and the future and my challenge. It just feels so great to get connected to my Bible that way! . . . I’m just catching myself craving depth and meaning… I’m craving more! I just got giddying talking about Revelation with (my husband) this morning and looking at all my notes in my Bible. . . I am thankful he is using you to inspire me!“

Don’t you just LOVE IT? God is stirring something beautiful in her heart. He is drawing her into a closer relationship with him. He is inviting her to go deeper with him and know him in a more intimate way than ever before. I see it because I have been there! I have felt that same craving for more. Once you catch the passion, the fire is lit and there is no putting it out. My heart is full because her heart is full! 

Sweet text messages like this is definitely “One of My Favorite Things!”
